Geotagging

Definition: The process of adding geographical metada to media such as images, videos, SMS or MMS messaging, and RSS feeds. Geotagging is often used in social media and the metada often attaches the longitude or latitude details of the file. Geotagging is most often used for geotagged photos on Twitter.
