User-generated Content
Definition: User-generated content describes content that is created, contributed and distributed by regular web browsers.
Many Web 2.0 technology-based websites and social networking websites are built on a foundation of user-generated content. For example, a blog is composed completely of content written and posted by a user.
Social tagging websites, like Digg.com, feature links to interesting websites users share with one another.
Even eCommerce websites like Amazon.com have a special emphasis on user-generated feedback from customers, so shoppers can get an inside view to seller credibility.
