  Twitter announced "Timely Tweets" today, stating that they will now be incorporating Promoted Tweets to user timelines. The Promoted Tweets will appear as regular tweets in user feeds and will appear only once. Promoted Tweets will only be appearing in user timelines that follow the organizations. Prior to this Promoted Tweets were only visible at the top of relevant search result pages on twitter.com, in related Tweets shown on the details pane and in search results for promoted trends. It took Google+ 24 days to gain the amount of users it took Facebook and Twitter over 1,000 days to achieve. A recent report from Mashable explains though that usership traffic has decreased.
