Looking for a free iPad? The L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library in Eau Claire, WI has got you covered. Well, for seven days at a time, at least. Last week, the library became the first of its kind to check out Apple iPads to the public. Now the world uses Twitter to cry their concerns about the American justice system and the Troy Davis capital punishment case. Google announced yesterday their "Wallet" app is available as a mobile payment system in New York and San Francisco. The app enables payments from Citi MasterCard and the Google prepaid card via the Sprint Nexus S 4G. Osama Bedier, VP of Google Payments, also announced an unanticipated partnership with the other major credit card providers: Visa, Discover and American Express.
