For the last few months, WikiLeaks has become well known in the world for leaking classified government information. This time around they leaked more than 250,000 classified documents that gave the world a heads up as to what was actually going on. Whether this may entire wrong to do, or rightful, isn't my decision to make. I believe it's good to know certain information but at the same time if it's detrimental to our country, our people, or countries than maybe it's something we shouldn't know?

After hearing about Paypal.com and Mastercard.com being hacked and Mastercard.com successful been taken down by DDOS(Denial-of-service attack), it made me wonder how serious this may be. The group of hackers is known by the name of "Operation Payback", in which they have focused on fighting anti-piracy companies by taking down their websites. It's good to know Media Supports Wikileaksthat they are working to limit anti-piracy and help prevent copyright, but at the same time is their presence with WikiLeaks good or bad? What's your opinion on this?

I am actually still surprised that they managed to hack Mastercard.com, a well know website, and based on their persistence I doubt this will be the only site they take down.  WikiLeaks has been denied service in one form or another by Amazon, PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, and many others. Even the media is standing up for WikiLeaks!

According to the different news articles and blogs, how do you feel about the entire WikiLeaks mess that has consumed every level of media within the last two weeks? Have you read any of the documents?  Do you think what WikiLeaks is doing is a good idea or bad? Any comments, opinions, feel free to share.

The name of the group is "Anonymous" - the current operation is called "payback".

Also, these are all denial of service attacks, they are not particularly technically special. But it does require a large number of participants. In effect, it's democracy in action when the citizens online are angry with these services - now they are suffering.

You wonder how serious this is???

Hello? Wake up. It might not be clear to you in the United States of Head in the Sand, but there is a global revolt against your corrupt totalitarian regime in Washington in progress.

Their time is up.

It definitely is very serious, I was just asking for the opinions of others. Based on the latest news, they just took down Paypal as well. What's next???
