Well, during a recent social media meeting at Hudson Horizons, we stumbled across the answer we've all been searching for: Pinterest does not have an algorithm!
Well, not a very developed one at least.

The job posting for software engineer, listed at the very top of Pinterest's career section, explains that they're looking for a software engineer to work on projects such as:
"Search
Design algorithms to return socially and thematically relevant content."
Well, that explains the confusion behind Pinterest's undeveloped algorithm, now doesn't it.
