Today, Toys “R” Us announced a new tablet device which is geared towards tech-savvy children. The kid-friendly tablet is called the Tabeo, which comes pre-loaded with tons of apps that kids will love such as: knowledge games, ebooks, and development apps. Do you prefer books to movies, but find yourself unwilling to make the trek to the bookstore after a long day's work? Amazon knows how you feel. According to the Wall Street Journal, the online sales company is in talks with various publishing houses about creating a "Netflix for books."
