
Pop star, Taylor Swift released her fourth album Red this morning, and it quickly rose to number one on the iTunes Top Albums chart. While the singer makes scheduled media appearances to promote her new album, she has decided to allow an army of her social media followers to follow her in real life today. The lucky chosen fans will travel alongside Taylor in New York City to launch her week-long TV blitz that starts on Good Morning America. Throughout the day, fans following swift will be posting live updates across social media platforms such as: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to share their experience and offer behind the scenes insight of Swift’s media tour.

Before the release of Red, Swift has already seen great success online with her single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” which set a U.S. digital sales record of 623,000 downloads, the most ever in one week for a female artist. The singer will be taking over TV this week, making appearances on: The Late Show with David Letterman, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and All Access Nashville with Katie Couric – A special Edition of 20/20 to name a few.
Taylor is also partnering up with Papa John’s! The company will offer fans the ability to purchase Red and a large one-topping pizza for $22 in-store or at PapaJohns.com. Papa John's will also sponsor the 'Taylor Swift Worldwide Radio Remote' where Taylor will perform live for her fans across the country in Nashville on October 26.
