The Republican Convention was held last night in Tampa
swearing in Mitt Romney as Republican candidate. Romney was himself with his
countless lies to make our POTUS
look bad. This time Romney brought in a mini-army to help bash on the
President. This morning I hit
Twitter search to see what my fellow politickers were saying
about the #GOP2012.

@TruthTeam2012 is run by the #Obama2012 campaign staff tweeting to get the facts out there
after Romney's stiff allegations via his campaign. This presidential race is a cultural
race; Romney has a 0% of getting votes from African Americans. The cameras last
night zoomed in and out of the only two African Americans at the convention way
too many times.

Tweeters alike
cannot fathom the idea or reason as to why Mitt
didn't include 9 important policies we the people are worried about.
Instead he decided to talk about his parent's love life. Romney avoided:
- The financial reform

- The climate change
- Immigration
- ‘Romneycare'
- Wars in Afghanistan or Syria
- Social security
- Medicare
- Housing
Do the Republicans not see that these are the policies that
we the people are worried about? The Twittersphere knows that the Republican
candidate is fickle; contradicting himself.

The Infographic tweeted above depicts Romney contradicting
himself five times on the subject of education for the people; some even within
the same year.

Social
media is a great tool for ‘we the people' during this year's presidential campaign.
Insights on others beliefs and views help broaden our own. Personally, I've
realized how out of touch this man is with the people of the United States.
We the people were all a little confused about
the whole chair double entendre. Not sure what Clint Eastwood was doing
here; talking to an invisible Obama on a chair. It's funny yet low and weird,
very weird. Obama quickly tweeted this epic picture
with an even more epic title. It has been retweeted 34,810 times and favorited
13,521.

Social Media will allow we
the people to know who the next presidential candidate will be before the
votes are even counted. Remember, the US found out about Osama Bin Laden's
death via a tweet from the other side of Earth (Thanks @keithurbahn). Have you
registered to vote for this presidential election yet? Do you think social
media has played a role in this year's campaign?
