The social networking platform, Twitter, announced on their blog yesterday that they will be rolling out two new functionalities to offer users a more personalized and information driven experience.
The new features will "help you discover more on Twitter." One feature is the added tab with your @username.
- This will allow you to narrow down activity that is related to you and your actions on Twitter.
- Users will be able to see their latest tweets that have been retweeted by others or marked as ‘Favorites,' @mentions, and newest followers.
The @username tab feature is a quick way to stay updated with your Twitter life. The second new feature is the Activity tab.
- Similar to the @usernanme tab it highlights ‘Favorites,' retweets and follows but this tab gathers information about the users you follow.
Twitter is hoping that these new tabs will make it "easier than ever to explore Twitter, connect with people and discover what's happening around the world."
What do you think of these new tab features?
Do you think they will actually improve your Twitter experience?
