The US Olympic Team is
ready for London and you should be too. The Olympics this year will be more
social media-fied than ever before bringing us all together whilst watching
these long awaited events. This year you can keep up to date on your favorite
US Athletes via their Twitter accounts.
Of course everyone has their favorite sport they like to
watch; I prefer the men's diving portion of the games. Maybe it's the super
tiny trunks and all the abs but you bet your bottom dollar I'll be following US
Athletes such as Chris Colwell from the University of Georgia. Colwell also participated in the 2008 Beijing
Olympic Games where he took part in the 3 meter springboard and the
synchronized 3 meter. Colwell is also 60% deaf but that ain't stopping him!

Who can forget Alex
Morgan? Such a graceful beauty and not to mention ass kicking soccer
player. Morgan debuted at the US Women's World Cup and we quickly fell in love
with her. Morgan also models, and was ranked in Maxim's Top 100 Hotties List.
We're rooting for the girls to bring home the gold from across the pond. The
team plays tomorrow against France promptly at 12pm Eastern time. Tune in and tweet Morgan to show your support!

Native Californian, Sam Mikulak, will be wearing the
red, white, and blue this year at the London Games showing us his impeccable
finesse in gymnastics. Sam was awarded NCAA all-around champ in 2011 and
received a bronze medal in floor exercise. He also received a silver medal in
the 2011 Winter Cup in vault. Sam's currently a gymnast at the University of
Michigan. Tweet him and Facebook him with the hashtag
#TeamSam and I'm sure he'd appreciate it.
Gabby Douglas has caught the attention of viewers worldwide
in the past week. She has surpassed her "rival" Jordyn Wieber at the US Olympic
trials. Although they are pretty much the new Shawn Johnson and Nastia Liukin
for these games they still are fighting for the Gold. The
Flying Squirrel is determined to bring home the Gold and shine on the
bars. Follow her on Twitter and Instagram!

Jersey Boy, Jordan Burroughs is determined to bring freestyle
wrestling back to the forefront of the Olympic Games. Burroughs is Nebraska's
first and only two times NCAA Champion and Hodge Trophy Winner. He is ready to
defend and bring back the Gold. Jordan's YouTube video The Grind follows him on
his grind to becoming Gold medalist. Watch his inspirational video and
follow him on Twitter.
Don't be left behind during the 2012 London Summer Olympics
and not follow your favorite US Athletes. Social
Media will be playing a big role this year at the Games. These are just a
few of the Americans in the spotlight this year, don't forget about Michael Phelps, Carmelo Anthony, or just follow
the US Olympic Team to keep updated
on all the US Events. You can also follow the Torch Relay which will officially set off the games on Friday, July 27th.
